TIM: How One Of My Most Successful Students With A Small Account Made $3,200 In A Few Days

  • Forex Trading System Central · 1 year ago
If your able to limit your risk then a trade like this could be very profitable. I imagine you would need to watch it closely and adjust your stops as the stock moves.
  • CashisKing · 1 year ago
got in at .70 premarket friday 7100 shares, sold tuesday 2.4 for just over 12k profit.

Very Good Adam, I feel you creeping up behind me very quickly on Covestor hmmm I must perform better while I think of ways to annihilate you in the near future. Good JOB! We learn from the best.

    Nice job Adam..

My trades on SRZ since the alert..

    12/5 long average .90 to 1.12 .....3/$3500 trades
    12/8 long 1.28 to 1.48
    12/9 short 2.48 to 2.28
    12/9 long 2.20 to 2.53
    12/9 short 2 to 2.21 (loser)
    12/10 short 1.97 to 1.68
    12/11 short 1.83 to 1.51
    12/12 short 1.68 to 1.60
    12/12 long 1.34 to 1.68

SRZ has the highest ADR(10) of any tradeable stock with volume out there over $1and 2nd only to NCT in the ADR(30) rankings.
Right now SRZ is the cash cow to anyone who knows how to daytrade...obviously you do it well!

    Muddy and AdamN,
    Congrats on banking on SRZ!

Is SRZ still viable for this coming week?
  • Timothy Sykes · 1 year ago
snoop, we had some discounts 2 weeks ago, dont be so poor. that said, later this week we'll have a special for timukah discount for all timalert members only

Pretty soon you won't be able to say he has a small account. unless you consider everyone under 6 figures as being small.
  • AdamN · 1 year ago
Ha Gunz, in no way am I close to 6 figures, I'm still limited by PDT.
  • Dar · 1 year ago
    Adam--
Since you're still limited by PDT, is that why you held over the weekend?

Also, are you using multiple accounts to circumvent the PDT?

    (Nice "gravatar"--Go, Steelers!)
  • AdamN · 1 year ago
Dar, I didn't hold over the weekend because of the PDT rule. I held because the stock closed strong on the day at $1 from $0.50. Holding any penny stock overnight or over the weekend is always risky, but I just played the chart on this one.

I'm only using one account currently at IB to trade with. Since I'm limited by the PDT, I only look for truly worthy plays for shorting or going long and those usually come about only once or twice per week.

and if u cant afford a few hundrd bucks, u shouldnt be trading my kinds of stocks, focus on pennysotcking and pennystocking 2, shortstocking is more of an overall guide to short selling, not my ideal trading strategy
  • Timothy Sykes · 1 year ago
restocking is a bitch, we gotta get our dvd guy to retest all the dvds before we send em out again...good thing its only happened a few times...you guys are such whiny little babies, u forget the tremendous values my dvds are compared to the $2-$10k dvds offered by those who dont even show their own trades/track records, go deal with a snakeoil salesman if u dont like my stuff, i dont mind, eventually u'll come back, just poorer for it
  • nobody · 1 year ago
AdamN, is there any way for us to view your trades in real time? Or do you post your trades in any of the chat rooms?
Since you are so successful maybe you can provide "AdamNAlerts" under Tim alerts.
  • AdamN · 1 year ago
I have a profile on Covestor that tracks my trades you can follow.

    http://www.covestor.com/mbr/adamn

But since I recently switched to IB, my trades have to be manually updated rather than in real-time. I usually post my trades over at the Timalerts website and sometimes at Investors Live chatroom when I get good alert there.

I'm all for real-time alerts, but I doubt Tim wants to cut me in on that action, he's doing well enough.
  • nobody · 1 year ago
Do you still go into the timalert chat room?

Maybe you can post your trades where when you make them. The other subscribers will really find this helpful.

Tim's trades are definitely great. I am not suggesting that you cut him or anything. Just that you might trade differently some times from him, so other subscribers can learn from you as well by following your alerts.
  • Dar · 1 year ago
    Adam--

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like I'll be starting out the same way--holding onto my precious trades for 1-2 days each week to avoid the PDT and paper-trading in between to learn the system and (hopefully) build up some real capital.

Keep up the great work--I hope you'll keep us updated on your progress.
  • anonymous · 1 year ago
Dar, note that Tim doesn't trade every single day. He was also restricted by PDT initially.
You just have to either spread out your day-trade plays, or just hold overnight.

This is a fine story and all, but it's not worth a damn unless you have prime access to this mysterious individual only known as muddy. How would one spot such a stock? And if one can't spot a stock like that (which seems to be apparent in the author's case), it would seem entirely asinine to follow stock tips of a stranger from a chat room.
  • Timothy Sykes · 1 year ago
night runner, thats why u pick up one of my dvds and learn the strategy yourself! it aint rocket science
  • Muddy · 1 year ago

God! I really wish to have $2000 in my pocket, but i 'm too scared because playing with penny stock market is more like a gamble. I don know how much my luck..
  • Timothy Sykes · 1 year ago
takumi, its not luck and its not a gamble if you're willing to cut losses quickly...no other market niche offers such predictability
